Well, it certainly has been a while since I even visited my own blog! Things have been a little crazy since the summer, what with work, then school and more work. I’ve been pretty much bumming around since my winter break has started. Now that the break is almost over -and with a new year rolling around in the corner, I think it’s time to do some productive work.

I will try to keep this blog updated more often, although with the new semester coming, it will be hard to guarantee. I’m also thinking of fixing up the site a bit more, since the last time I cared for this blog there was a few problems I think. Gosh, it’s been a long time.

Aside from the site, I’ve been working on my portfolio to apply to the GDMA program at Kwantlen. Once I finish putting together the whole thing, I will upload some more photos to the gallery.

Hmm, I think that’s all I got for now, I’ll be back later to talk about my new laptop!!

For all of those Hip Hop and R&B/Slow Jams music lovers out there, I’ve got a treat for you. Throwback Project is a site that is dedicated to promoting Hip Hop and R&B/Slow Jam music from the late 80’s, 90’s, to the early 2000’s.

The site branches into two different sub-sites for Hip Hop and R&B/Slow Jams. Each week, 10 songs are posted on both sites and you can listen to snippets of your favourite songs. If you like the song, you can purchase the song from Itunes or even buy an entire album off amazon. The site provides all the links so it will be a breeze if you do decide you want to make a purchase.

P.S. I made the splash page for the site! I will add the image onto my gallery later on when I feel like it.

That’s all the update for now. I’ve got tons more photos to upload and will do that as soon as possible. For some reason, Firefox keeps crashing on me everytime I try uploading photos in Wordpress. So right now I’m using IE (which I don’t really like). Hopefully I’ll be able to fix whatever it is that Firefox is having issue on.

More photos! This is probably my second last project for my current Photography Class. I used the zoom lens and explored why Spring is so awesome. You can click on the thumbnail here to view the album, or go through gallery-photography to see them. I also made a contact sheet for this album!

I’m kind of sulking right now because I just got my marks back for two of my other projects. My teacher gave me a 7/10 and a 8/10 since she thinks the story and intention of the photos weren’t clear. I was intending to post them up, but seeing as I got such a low mark…perhaps not.

*JUST IN*
I got 10/10 for my Spring Fever! So, I’m happy now!! I have to admit I did put in more effort for this than my other two project (which evidently resulted in low marks). Oh well, I guess I deserved the marks. I got one more project left, which is another photoshoot. I will definitely put in tons of effort since it will be my last project ever in high school!

Aside from that, I’m not sure if you’ve noticed or not, but I’ve changed the layout. No, I did not make it from scratch (sadly). Instead, I was able to grab a template from Wordpress Template, and modified the layout according to my needs. I’d rather be able to create my own theme and call it my own. However, since I’m not planning to major in media design or website coding, it doesn’t bother me all that much.
