Comments: I don't usually like to paint still life, because I'm kind of bad at the whole getting the right composition thing. This one took me quite a while to finish. I focused on trying to give the images a 3D feel, rather than looking flat.

Comments: Pastel painting is actually really fun. You basically grab a bunch of colours, doodle, and then smudge! Of course, there is more to it than what I've just lazily described. The key principle is to make sure all the colours blend nicely together.

Comments: The purpose of this one is pretty much the same as "Misty Forest". I was only allowed to use a large brush, which helps me practice making big strokes.

Comments: This painting was too dark for my crummy digital camera to pick out clearly. The purpose of this painting was for me to practice my strokes. Apparently I have a habit of making small and uncertain brush strokes, which was not a good thing.

Comments: This painting was supposed to have more boats, but I am really bad at drawing them. Actually this was not finished either. Again, I usually run into time issues.
